See every task breathe
Live task titles, queue depth, elapsed time, reasoning effort, Fast mode, and the exact phase Codex is in—rendered directly on each key.
Monitor live Codex tasks, jump between threads, change reasoning, and dictate a follow-up without breaking your flow.
A physical agent dashboard
ThreadDeck turns status you normally hunt for into glanceable, tactile signals. It feels less like a shortcut pad—and more like a tiny operations console for your AI work.
Live task titles, queue depth, elapsed time, reasoning effort, Fast mode, and the exact phase Codex is in—rendered directly on each key.
Hold a task key, talk, and release. ThreadDeck switches to that task, dictates your follow-up, and submits only after Codex confirms the composer.
A fresh completion ripples across the deck. The finished task keeps a quiet green pulse until you actually open it.
Step through Light to Ultra reasoning, toggle Fast mode, and keep the currently running answer visually separate from what will apply next.
The interaction is the interface
Every gesture has one clear contract. No mouse choreography, no hidden cloud service, no guessing whether Codex received it.
Hold for 0.55 seconds, speak, then release. ThreadDeck waits for a stable transcript, submits it, and verifies that the composer cleared.

Press while speaking. Release to leave clean text in the current composer—without sending.

Tap for Return. Hold until the blue confirmation to send Command + Return.

Glanceable by design
Blue means active. Purple carries deeper reasoning. Amber counts queued follow-ups. A check freezes the final time. The interface stays legible at 288 pixels because every mark earns its place.

Local-first by construction
ThreadDeck has no account, analytics, update server, or cloud backend. It reads local Codex metadata conservatively and never writes to Codex database or session files.
